New Website

I’m delighted to welcome you to my new website!

Over the past year, I have worked to clearly separate my artistic practice from my teaching activity. By creating a dedicated site for my art academy, I can now present my personal work independently and more authentically.

This new website marks a deliberate turning point. Not everything needs to be shown, and not every phase must be represented. Over the years I have painted a great deal – but here I focus on my current body of work and on the artistic inquiry that has accompanied me since my years in Italy, where I lived for five years.

The site also serves as a tool to help me focus more deeply on my own visual language. As a teacher, I often step into the role of the learner, demonstrating how something might be done. This means I paint a lot – but not everything aligns with my personal artistic interests.

I am deeply grateful to my students. Their positive expectations and trust in my teaching have supported me greatly throughout my independent career.

The new website presents my work, deeply rooted in abstraction and nourished by experiences of nature in the broadest sense. What began with collecting natural found objects evolved through realistic seascapes into a poetic and abstract interpretation of nature.

The site is organized into three main categories:

  • Abstracted – works with reference to recognizable forms and motifs

  • Abstract – purely gestural, non-representational works

  • Collage – pieces shaped by cutting, rearranging, and layering
